Scaling Up Group meeting 2-3 April 2009, London

As we had not been active for some time this meeting was a chance to re-activate the Thematic Group, review strategy and functions and discuss the way forward. The first day focused on content, with broader discussions and sharing of experiences. Presentations were given by Paul Edwards of UNICEF, Erich Baumann of SKAT and Ton Schouten of IRC. The second day was dedicated to the function and future scope of activities of the group itself, as well as discussions on possible advisory functions of the group for the new Triple-S initiative, which is being managed and implemented by IRC.
